Here is Albert with one of his children, his youngest.

Meet Albert

Albert Fernandez’s formal education includes B.A. in Linguistics with a minor in Communicative Disorders from San Diego State University. He also received his master’s degree in Adult Education. He taught English as a Second Language to the migrant workers of the Coachella Valley for over 20 years. Albert considers himself a life-long learner spending many hours reading about economics and how it affects our purchasing ability.

His passion for learning and putting to practice what he’s learned towards finance and entrepreneurship. He ran his own translation services, Lin-Grad, participated in several start-ups such as Candies-by-Mikey a gumball machine route, Corella’s Wood-Fired Pizza, a mobile brick-oven pizza-catering service, and Rich Investments Inc, real estate investment and property management firm.

He loves traveling. He and his wife, Teresa have traveled from Hawaii, back to New York, up to Canada and down through Mexico. They were able to tour 8 European countries within 16 days.

He was in awe as he drove through the splendor of California coast from San Diego north into Shasta Lake and up to Bend, Oregon.

Originally from Sonora, Albert’s family immigrated to the Coachella Valley in 1978. He and his baby-brother were raised by a single mother who worked as a hospital housekeeper during the day and cleaned more houses as a side hustle in the evenings. She would take Albert along for the extra help. He learned from a very young age the definition of hard work and sacrifice.

But with that same grit, Albert is determined to help others achieve their financial goals. He believes his mission: to inform and provide individuals with the tools necessary to achieve success. Every individual should have the opportunity to succeed. He has dedicated himself to that cause both in education and in finance.
